Perpetual Calendar Part 7 completed as of 05.07.13
So I've completed the next part in the perpetual calendar the number 2

I changed the background colours a lot from what was charted this time. I looked for two of my hand dyed threads that I loved and that contrasted with one another. The main background colour is Salamander and the blue/green squares and circles is Blue Agave both of which are from Jodyri Designs.
I've also made some more progress on my model stitch Damask. I've used a whole skein of thread now. I'm trying to make texture in the design with the direction of my stitches.

Damask by Jodyri Designs as of 26.06.13
Here's my latest update on Damask by Jodyri Designs. It is stitched on 18 count Fairy Bower and the thread is Perfect Purples. The design, hand dyed fabric and hand dyed thread all come from Jodyri Designs.
I'm hoping to have a finish soon on the next part of the perpetual calendar.

I've also completed part 6 of the Heartz SAL from Thread Pickerz Silkz. Hearts nine, ten, eleven and twelve are stitched in Jodyri's Sherbet Dip, Thread Pickerz Silkz Peacock Blue, Crafty Kitten's Raspberry Crush and Crafty Kitten's Dragon Forest. I'm really enjoying this stitch along and managed to keep up quite well I'm only two weeks behind, the final part was released last week. I believe the design is going to be for sale on the Thread Pickerz Silkz website if anyone is interested in stitching it. I added the heart border myself. The fabric is 20 count aida in the Feb 2011 Ltd Edition from Crafty Kitten.
I'm hoping to have a finish soon on the next part of the perpetual calendar.

Damask by Jodyri Designs as at 19.06.13 - a new start
As soon as I saw this design released I knew I had to stitch it as I absolutely adore it. It is a new design by Michelle Easters at Jodyri Designs. So imagine my delight when Michelle asked if I would stitch the project as a model for her. I was absolutely over the moon.
Michelle has also started hand dyeing fabrics as well as thread and we decided that I would stitch this on Fairy Bower for the fabric with Perfect Purples for the thread.
Here are my progress pictures up to now.

Heart SAL Part 3 completed - 23.05.13
I've been trying to keep up with the Heart SAL and so far apart from the border I am managing to keep up.
Here's a picture of part three completed.
I'm stitching on 20 count aida from Crafty Kitten, the colour is the February 2011 Limited Edition.
The border is stitched in Jodyri Smoke and Mirrors.
The top row going left to right are stitched in 1 - Jodyri Colour Cascade, 2 - Thread Pickerz Silkz Robin's Nest, 3 - Thread Pickerz Silkz Amazon Parrot, 4 - Jodyri Cha Cha Cha.
The second row going left to right are 1 - Jodyri Arctic Splash, 2 - Rascal's Rainbow.
I've decided to start stitching items for some of my good friends and have sent them a list of questions from which I am going to try and stitch them something they love. I am going to start on the first one next. I will post pictures here but won't say who the stitching is for. Once the person has received it I will reveal more.

Perpetual Calendar Part 6 - completed 08.05.13
Here's the latest finish on Perpetual Calendar it's for February.
I've changed how I'm rotating again - just working through each of my projects one at a time. I am also working on a SAL from a group on Facebook - Thread Pickerz Silkz. Eileen has designed 16 hearts for people to stitch with two being released each week and I am going to try and keep up with the hearts as they are released. Eileen also sells gorgeous hand dyed silks some of which I am going to use in the SAL. The other project I am now going to work on is the Lizzie Kate Design - Merry Christmas by the Letter.

I changed the colours a bit from those recommended. I changed one of the greens to the yellow. I do love how this has turned out. The yellow stripes are in summer sunset, the green stripes in rainforest and the purple is perfect purples all from Jodyri designs. Michelle now has her own website so if you want to buy any or her gorgeous threads or charts please visit her at www.jodyridesigns.co.uk

Friends Heart - Alessandra Adelaide Freebie as of 30.04.13 - FINISHED
Finished! For the first time in as long as I can remember I have stitched on a design everyday from the day I started until the day I finished. 9 days in total to stitch this gorgeous design. All I need to do now is get it framed and sent off to my friend. Wish I could see her face when she gets it.

The nicest thing about this design is I can see me stitching it over and over again in different colour combinations. Hope all my friends appreciate it.

Friends Heart - Alessandra Adelaide as of 28.04.13
Last Monday I had a new start which I posted about it was a free design from Alessandra Adelaide for being in her Facebook group.
For the first time in a long time I have stitched everyday on the same project without getting the slightest bit bored.
Here are my progress pictures
Unfortunately I've had to stop stitching here as I've run out of thread. I'm expecting a delivery any day now though so hopefully will get it finished in the next week or so. I'm stitching it with a friend in mind so will frame it when I've finished and send it to her. I hope she loves it as much as I do.
The random number generator selected number 1 so I am stitching another part of the Perpetual Calendar.

Alessandra Adelaide Freebie Heart as of 22.04.13
I treated myself to a new start yesterday. I've been desperate to start using some hand dyed threads which I've bought from a friend who is starting up her own business. She is called Michelle and you can find her designs and hand dyed threads on her Facebook page at Joydri Designs - if you join the group please let her know you came from my blog. So inside of taking the easy option and using one of the many charts I have in my stash I've decided to stitch an Alessandra Adelaide design which was free to members of the Facebook group. Here's a picture of the finished design.
I am stitching on 20 count aida and the colour is called nougat. The thread I am stitching with is called Rascal's Rainbows and the colours are so vibrant I'm loving seeing it come to life.

It's the design on the right I am stitching for the single colour.
So here's my progress picture after day 1.
